Allergens and labels
We print what the maker states on the pack. We do not certify it.
What "On the pack" is
Some product pages carry a short table headed On the pack. Every row in it is text the maker wrote on the packaging or in the product's own description: the net weight, the ingredients, the shelf life, the FSSAI licence number. We read those out of the supplier's description by a fixed rule and print them as written.
We do not paraphrase them, we do not complete them, and we do not fill a gap with a plausible value. Where a value has no unit we print nothing rather than guess one.
What it is not
It is not an allergen declaration and it is not a certification. We do not test what we sell, we do not audit a maker's facility, and we cannot tell you whether a product was made on a line that also handles nuts, milk, wheat or sesame unless the maker says so on the pack.
If you have a food allergy or an intolerance, read the physical pack when it arrives, before you eat any of it. The pack in your hands is the reference, not this page and not the product page. Packaging and labels change between batches.
We also do not repeat a supplier's health claim about a food. Some descriptions on this catalogue open by telling you what a food will do for your body; we do not print those sentences, and the product stays on the shelf without them.
Why the table is often missing
Because the data is often missing. Walked across the whole store on 10 September 2026, 5,404 of 9,115 product descriptions carry no fact this store renders, more than half. On those pages the section is omitted rather than shown empty, because an empty table looks like an answer and an absence is honest.
The pack size is the one fact this catalogue reliably carries, so it prints in the buy zone of every product page that has one, whether or not the rest of the table appears.
If something is wrong
If a fact we printed does not match the pack you received, tell us and we will take it down. Write to support@cocinaindia.com with the product and, if you can, a photograph of the pack.
If a product arrives damaged, or is not the product on the page, that is covered: read the Refund & Return Policy.
This page is about the store's own printing rule. It is not medical advice and it is not a substitute for the label on the product you receive.
