The world's picture of an Indian kitchen, kept simple and honest.
Cocina is the Spanish word for kitchen, and India is the kitchen. A cook anywhere in the world opens this store and finds the whole Indian pantry and the pans to cook it in: the rice, the dals, the ghee, the masalas, the pickles, the sweets, the tawa and the kadai. Every pack says what it is, and what it weighs wherever the catalogue carries a weight, priced plainly, with nothing pushing. Food that arrives damaged or wrong is covered; cookware comes back within thirty days.
The name says it. Cocina is the Spanish word for kitchen, and India is the kitchen: the one place a cook can go for the whole pantry and the pans as well. That is the entire idea, and this store is not trying to be more than it is.

What comes back, and what does not
30-day returns, unused and in its original packaging, refunded to your original payment method.
Food cannot be returned, for health and safety reasons, unless it arrives damaged or defective.
Every product page says which of the two it is, beside the buy button, before you pay.

When it arrives
Processed in 1 to 2 business days, then typically 5 to 8 business days in the United States. Some items ship from an overseas supplier and take longer.
No arrive-by date anywhere on this store: the pack gives a range and so do we.
What the card says
The name on a card is the supplier’s own title with the maker moved to its own line and the pack read off the variants. Nothing is added that the title did not say, and nothing is shortened with an ellipsis.
The weight or volume is on the card wherever the catalogue carries one. Where it does not, the card says nothing rather than guessing.
What is on the pack
We print what the maker states on the pack: ingredients, shelf life, net weight, the FSSAI licence, and nothing else. We do not certify it, and we do not repeat a supplier’s health claim about a food.

This store never sees a card number.

Who you are buying from
Cocina India is a store operated by Mayomark Commerce, Inc., 226 Woodrow St, Reidsville, NC 27320, United States. Your order, your payment and your refund are all with that company, whichever of its stores you came through.
We do not make what we sell. Every product on this store is made by someone else and shipped from a supplier's warehouse, and the maker is printed above the name wherever the supplier tells us who that is. Where it does not, the card says nothing rather than guessing, the same way it does with the weight. What we own is the shelf: what goes on it, how it is named, and what is said about it.
